NuWave – A Product Review
My family does a lot of cooking. I think it is just something we enjoy and are good at, especially my dad’s side of the family. When they get together and start cooking, it is almost like watching the Iron Chef J. This past Christmas, my sister gifted my parents a NuWave Oven. I was impressed at how fast and efficient it cooked meat, so I wanted to share my experience in using it.
I decided to make lamb dish for New Year’s Eve dinner. I just combined chopped garlic, minced rosemary, Dijon honey mustard, salt, pepper, and olive oil into a bowl. I then marinated the lamp chops in the mixture for about an hour.
Then I was ready to cook. I lined the grilling rack with rosemary then I put the lamb chops over it.
Then I placed the lid on and set the temperature to 350 degrees and the timer to 30 minutes.
After about 10 minutes, here’s how it looks like.
NuWave cooks the food fast and gets rid of the excess fat. How is it able to cook food so quickly? It uses conduction, convection and infrared heat! So here is how the finished product looks like! My sister also made some short ribs (left) and within 30 mins it was cooked perfectly as well. The meat was moist, flavorful, and surprisingly very tender. My sister feels that this product was a great purchase and I truly agree!
